Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding position making a real impact in elementary education for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students, teachers, and families, supporting young learners as a valued School Psychologist. This role centers on providing comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary-age students. You will collaborate with faculty and staff to support each child's academic and social-emotional growth, ensuring every student receives the resources they need to succeed. With a 37.5-hour workweek, you'll engage in meaningful work and enjoy a consistent schedule.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active, valid LSSP license (required) Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting (elementary experience preferred) Expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, interpreting results, and providing actionable recommendations Strong understanding of special education processes and laws regarding assessments Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and interpret psychological and educational assessments for elementary students Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessment data Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Contribute to positive educational outcomes through data-driven and student-centered support
