Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Help shape the academic and emotional success of students by providing essential psychological services for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to make a meaningful impact. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and staff to foster positive learning environments and support student growth.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist licensure or certification Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field Previous experience working within K-12 school settings strongly preferred Familiarity with evidence-based assessment tools, counseling strategies, and behavioral intervention plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team collaboration Ability to provide both direct student services and consultative support to staff and familiesRole Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and psycho-educational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development Interpret assessment results to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies Provide crisis intervention, counseling services, and behavioral supports as needed Offer consultative guidance to teachers and parents regarding student mental health, learning needs, and behavior management Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive school climates through advocacy and ongoing professional development Maintain timely documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal educational guidelines This rewarding contract position offers up to 40 hours per week on-site, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and the educational community.
