Job Description

Emergency Diagnostic Solutions, a Joint Commission-certified clinical services firm based in Texas, is hiring one licensed psychologist for an anticipated state facility services contract in Harlingen beginning this fall.
This is direct clinical work:
psychological evaluations and assessments, diagnosis, and counseling for residents of a state psychiatric facility, plus clinical consultation with the facility's treatment teams. Schedule is Monday through Friday, daytime hours between 8 and 5, roughly 10 to 40 hours per week as scheduled by the facility, about 80% on-site. No nights, no weekends, no holiday shifts outside a rare declared emergency. Hours vary with facility need and are not guaranteed — this role fits well alongside an existing private practice.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Current, unencumbered Texas psychologist license
  • Five or more years of post-licensure experience
  • Bilingual — English and Spanish
  • Able to pass a Texas DPS criminal background check (Paid for by Company)
  • Experience with adult mental health populations preferred
