Desired Qualifications:
Current and valid School Psychologist certification Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Familiarity with virtual assessment tools and online platforms (if opting for virtual placement) Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in crisis intervention, behavioral assessment, and counseling Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent report writing skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and interpret results Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies Provide direct counseling and support services to students Consult with parents, teachers, and staff to support student success Participate in special education eligibility meetings and create intervention plans Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams in identifying and addressing student needs Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and legal guidelines Deliver services in compliance with ethical and professional practice standards This contract role allows you to choose the working style that best fits your life, whether that's providing your expertise onsite or utilizing your skills in a virtual capacity.
