Licensed Psychologist - Houston, TX (Independent Contractor / 1099) Flexible Schedule | Evaluations Only | No Therapy | No On-Call Ready for a psychology role that lets you focus purely on assessment—without the burnout of caseloads, treatment plans, or after-hours calls? The IMA Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist in Houston to conduct psychological disability evaluations as an independent contractor, in a structured, office-based setting. This 1099 role is a great fit if you enjoy diagnostic and testing work and want full control over your schedule—work as little or as much as you like, depending on volume and your own availability.
What You'll Do:
Conduct psychological disability evaluations, including Mental Status Exams (MSEs) and psychological testing Assess cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities relevant to disability determinations Evaluate how psychological conditions affect daily functioning and work capacity Complete streamlined electronic reports using an efficient documentation system
What You'll Need:
Ph.D. or Psy.

D. in Psychology Active Texas Psychologist license Experience administering and interpreting psychological assessments Ability to evaluate patients ages 4 and up Why Psychologists Love Contracting with
