Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract assignment is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide itinerant services across multiple schools in Laredo, TX, starting March 30, 2026, through May 28, 2026. This role requires flexible hours that may vary between part-time and full-time, serving student populations within the local school district.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across assigned campuses. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic achievement. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district policies. Support crisis intervention as needed within the school setting.Qualifications:
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential required. Master's degree in School Psychology or related field. Bilingual skills preferred to effectively serve diverse student populations. Ability to manage a caseload itinerantly across multiple schools. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with staff and families.Location:
