School Psychologist in Lubbock, TX Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Lubbock, TX Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications School experience School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing crucial support within a welcoming educational setting as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to empower young learners, foster positive school environments, and guide student success. This opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results Knowledge of interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Strong communication and consultation skills for working collaboratively Familiarity with Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes is preferred Flexible and adaptable with a strong sense of initiative
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for eligibility determinations and student support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective IEPs and intervention plans Provide direct counseling or skill-building sessions for students as needed Support staff with strategies and resources to support students' well-being Consult with families to enhance communication and partnership Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with all guidelines Participate in student support and problem-solving team meetings Benefits of this
