Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference as a full-time school psychologist serving an elementary caseload near Lubbock, TX. In this contract position, you'll collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals committed to promoting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students. The primary focus will be assessments and report writing, with responsibilities both as part of a supportive psychological services team and as an individual contributor when assigned to a specific school.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Previous experience with elementary school assessments preferred Strong understanding of the special education process and eligibility determination Expertise in psychological assessment tools and techniques Ability to develop comprehensive, clear, and timely reports Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families Commitment to ethical practices and professional standards
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting student assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Writing detailed, actionable reports based on assessment results Participating in eligibility, IEP, and intervention planning meetings Consulting with educators, administrators, and families to support student success Delivering evidence-based recommendations and support strategies Collaborating effectively within a school psych team and adaptability for school site assignment Make a real impact by supporting students in reaching their fullest potential within a welcoming school environment.
