Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract assignment for the 2026-2027 academic year! The position is anticipated to serve two secondary campuses near Magnolia, TX, with a start date of August 12, 2026, and an end date of May 21, 2027. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in evaluations and student counseling, ensuring students receive the guidance and support they need to thrive. The primary responsibilities will involve conducting evaluations, leading ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, and providing PRN (as-needed) counseling and assessments.
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid psychologist license required Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting preferred Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators Familiarity with ARD processes and special education evaluations Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students as needed Participate actively in ARD meetings and ensure all paperwork is accurate and timely Deliver counseling services to students on a limited, as-needed basis Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding student mental health and behavioral needs Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district and state regulations Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive educational experience This contract offers the chance to focus on providing key student services within a supportive school community.
