Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students and staff across two secondary middle school campuses for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to contribute expertise in educational settings while enjoying the variety and connection that comes with serving multiple locations.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current, valid license as a School Psychologist Previous experience in middle school or secondary education settings strongly preferred Skill in student evaluations, ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, and providing minimal counseling Strong communication abilities when collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, students, and families Flexibility, independence, and an efficient approach to managing a PRN evaluation caseload Familiarity with special education regulations, best practices, and evidence-based interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and develop support recommendations Attend and participate in ARD meetings, offering insights and contributing to student success plans Deliver occasional, targeted counseling sessions for students as required Liaise with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic, behavioral, and emotional growth Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Consult with educational teams to facilitate effective interventions and supports
