Job Description

Category Schools - Educational Diagnostician Job Type Contract Transform your skills as a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician into a rewarding opportunity. This contract position is ideal for a capable professional with Spanish-English fluency and a passion for supporting students through assessment and intervention. You'll primarily work with middle school students while also assisting elementary campuses with bilingual evaluations. Partnership is at the heart of this role, including collaboration with school psychologists and the support of dedicated ARD facilitators.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Certification as an Educational Diagnostician in the state of Texas Fluency in Spanish and English required Previous experience in K-12 settings, especially with bilingual or ESL populations, is highly valued Ability to conduct comprehensive educational and psychological assessments Strong organizational skills to help manage and complete initial evaluations efficiently Effective team collaboration and communication with staff and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct bilingual evaluations for elementary campuses and middle school students, focusing on initial assessments Work in partnership with school psychologists and ARD facilitators to ensure accurate, thorough, and culturally responsive testing Provide clear, comprehensive assessment reports for use in ARD/IEP meetings Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help develop educational plans tailored to each student's needs Maintain documentation and timelines, helping campuses catch up on existing evaluation needs You will join an environment committed to equity, student progress, and professional partnership.
