Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact on students' lives as a full-time School Psychologist in a vibrant educational community near Rockwall, TX. This contract opportunity allows you to work on-site throughout the school year, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and professionals. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting K-12 students, with specific assignment across either elementary or middle school to be determined. In this role, you'll conduct educational and psychological evaluations—approximately ten per month—providing critical insights that guide student support strategies. You'll also work directly with a small group of students (6-8, depending on grade levels) to deliver counseling services, helping them navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. This position offers the chance to develop strong relationships within the school community and contribute to creative problem-solving for students' success.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with school-age children (K-12 preferred) Strong knowledge of evaluation tools and counseling techniques Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseloads and deadlines effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret student assessments and evaluations Provide individual and small group counseling sessions Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams on student plans Participate in IEP and intervention meetings Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
