Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact each day by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to a supportive educational environment near Shallowater, TX! This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with elementary students, providing vital psychological services as part of a dedicated team. You'll have the ability to foster positive growth and support for students, both individually and as a member of a collaborative group of professionals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology Valid Texas licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct individual psychological assessments for elementary students to identify learning, social, and emotional needs Complete comprehensive reports detailing assessment findings and recommendations Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and fellow school psychologists to develop appropriate interventions Participate in district or assigned school site meetings, assisting with IEP processes and supporting students' success Work alongside a team of psychologists while remaining adaptable to assignment at a specific school as needed Provide ongoing consultation and expertise for behavioral and academic interventions This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive school culture and help children reach their full potential within a collaborative atmosphere.
