Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist Extensive knowledge of assessment, intervention strategies, and IEP processes Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Flexible approach to working with a diverse student population Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support individual student needs Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate interventions and support plans Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation for students, families, and staff Offer professional guidance to teachers and school leaders on student mental health and behavioral strategies Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory standards
