Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position is based near Willis, Texas, working across two middle school campuses. You'll play a vital role in evaluating students, participating in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings, and providing limited counseling services as needed. What We're Looking For:
Valid and current license as a School Psychologist Prior experience with educational settings and secondary school populations preferred Familiarity with conducting student evaluations, writing reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially working with students, parents, and staff Knowledge of local and federal special education procedures, including ARD participation Ability to prioritize within a caseload that is primarily PRN for evaluations with low counseling volume
Key Responsibilities:
Perform timely and thorough student assessments and evaluations Prepare efficient and well-documented evaluation reports Participate actively in ARD meetings, sharing valuable insights and recommendations Deliver minimal, targeted counseling sessions as required Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student development Remain current on best practices and regulations within school psychology This contract is set to begin August 12, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027.
