Job Description

Step into a fulfilling role supporting elementary students as a contract School Psychologist at a dynamic educational community near Wylie, TX. This position is ideal for professionals eager to focus on assessment, working closely with a supportive team and making a tangible impact throughout the school year from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting 3-4 comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations weekly for elementary students Collaborating with educational staff and families to share findings and help determine the best supports for students Participating as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams focused on student success Managing itinerant assignments efficiently while contributing positively to the school environment Completing and documenting high-quality assessments in a timely and organized manner Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring clarity in reporting and recommendations Desired qualifications and experience: Valid and active School Psychologist license in Texas Previous school-based experience, particularly with elementary-age children, highly valued Strong background in psychoeducational assessments; ability to interpret data and generate clear, actionable reports Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary framework Flexibility and adaptability to navigate itinerant and multi-campus assignments Commitment to professional ethics and confidentiality This position is fully onsite, working 37.5 hours per week, and centers exclusively on assessment, leaving counseling services to the dedicated in-house counseling team.
