Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is highly valued Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills Ability to interpret psychoeducational data and communicate results effectively Familiarity with IEP process and special education law Collaborative approach with students, staff, and families Excellent organizational and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive academic, behavioral, and emotional assessments Develop and implement strategies to address students' academic and social/emotional needs Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on learning and behavioral challenges Assist in the identification and support of students in crisis or those requiring further evaluation Promote a safe and inclusive school climate In this role, you'll have the opportunity to positively influence students while working in a supportive educational community.
