Job Description
About the role Good Steward ABA is a small, clinician-owned practice serving children and families across Poquoson and the Virginia Peninsula — including many military families through TRICARE. We built this practice around a simple idea: keep caseloads manageable and let clinicians do their best work without the pressure of a billing mill. If you became a BCBA to actually help kids and families — not to chase productivity quotas — we should talk. Why BCBAs should choose us Manageable caseloads by design Real clinical autonomy over your assessments and treatment planning An owner who handles the admin, billing, and operational load so you can focus on clinical work Flexible scheduling that fits your life What you'll do Conduct behavioral assessments (FBAs, skills assessments such as VB-MAPP) and build individualized, data-driven treatment plans Design and oversee behavior intervention plans, adjusting based on ongoing progress data Train and supervise RBTs, and provide direct intervention as needed Coach parents and caregivers so strategies carry over at home Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation What we're looking for Current BCBA certification in good standing and Virginia LBA license Experience with autism and developmental disabilities, ideally with children Someone collaborative, dependable, and genuinely client-centered Benefits Flexible schedule Continuing education (CEU) support and professional development assistance Retirement plan (SIMPLE IRA) with employer matching PTO Details Job type: Part-time to Full-time, as desired
