School Psychologist

Suffolk, VA | $3,000 Assignment Bonus• Join a Collaborative, Student-Focused Team Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Suffolk City, VA is seeking two School Psychologists (SPSY) for the 2026/2027 school year . This in-person role replaces virtual support, allowing for stronger collaboration and direct student impact. We are also open to part-time candidates , offering flexibility while maintaining meaningful engagement.

Assignment Overview Dates:

August 10, 2026 to June 4, 2027

Schedule:

3 to 4 schools per day (Mon to Thurs)

Fridays:

Reserved for assessments & report writing Daily Hours Approximately 7.5 hrs) with travel among the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools | Typically scheduled: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological evaluations (primarily TCRs & Re-evaluations ) Complete and justify VDOE eligibility worksheets Facilitate and lead eligibility meetings & discussions Collaborate with diagnosticians conducting educational testing Write compliant, high-quality psychological reports Provide consultation (as needed) to case managers Tools & Support Access to all major testing platforms VA IEP system ( training provided ) Structured weekly workflow with dedicated reporting time Supportive, highly responsive district team Qualifications (Required) Active Virginia Teaching License (VDOE) with School Psychologist endorsement Experience completing and defending VDOE eligibility worksheets Strong assessment, reporting, and collaboration skills What we offer: Full medical, dental, vision, life, and even pet insurance!
