Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a dedicated School Psychologist in the White River Junction area. This full-time, on-site position runs from August through December, with the potential to continue into the next semester. You'll play a key role in providing specialized assessment services across multiple school sites, making a meaningful impact on local students' educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Vermont School Psychologist license required Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly desirable Expertise in educational and psychological testing for various grade levels Strong organizational skills to manage files and coordinate with multiple sites Excellent written and verbal communication skills Committed to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for testing Collaborate with educational teams to interpret assessment data and guide instructional planning Prepare detailed, professional evaluation reports in accordance with district and state guidelines Travel between assigned school sites (all within the district) as scheduled Attend meetings as required to discuss evaluation results and recommendations Maintain clear records and schedules for student assessments
