Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students across multiple sites in the Brownsville, VT area. This full-time position is perfect for professionals passionate about enhancing student well-being and contributing to supportive educational environments. The assignment runs from August through December, with potential extension based on district needs.
Key Qualifications:
Active Vermont (VT) School Psychologist license (required) Previous experience working within K-12 settings preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and testing skills Ability to travel to and support multiple school locations as assigned Comfortable working onsite, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students ages kindergarten through grade 12 Administer, score, and interpret standardized tests to identify students' academic, cognitive, and emotional needs Collaborate with other educational professionals as needed to share assessment findings Prepare clear, thorough evaluation reports in compliance with state and district protocols Provide recommendations for interventions or supports based on assessment results Maintain detailed and confidential records for all evaluations Adhere to all relevant state, federal, and district policies and ethical standards What to
