Deliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, grief counseling, and art or dance therapy as appropriate. Utilize evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention techniques to support clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions via telehealth or in-person settings while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management strategies and behavior management techniques to ensure client safety and well-being. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including patient care notes, medical records, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and treatment summaries in compliance with medical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, patient assessment, and research initiatives to enhance service quality and clinical outcomes. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist or equivalent according to state requirements. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities or co-occurring disorders is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, and grief counseling. Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for clinical counseling sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical research methods, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes and clinical documentation standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse populations; proficiency in crisis management and crisis intervention techniques is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate cultural competence in serving clients from varied backgrounds.
