Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students' growth and well-being as a part-time, in-person school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals dedicated to assisting K-12 learners in reaching their full potential. The assignment begins August 31, 2026 and continues through June 16, 2027, allowing you to be part of critical moments in students' educational journeys.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Washington State School Psychologist License required Previous experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse K-12 populations Ability to work onsite; remote or virtual service is not considered for this position Strong collaborative skills and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs within a school setting Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and individualized educational programs Support positive learning environments and advocate for students' mental health needs Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings as necessary Maintain meticulous documentation while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards
