Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a genuine difference supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year! A part-time School Psychologist is needed in a welcoming academic setting near Silverdale, WA, offering the opportunity to work closely with students and staff in person. This contract role is perfect for those with a passion for school-based mental health and a desire to contribute meaningfully throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Hold an active Washington School Psychologist license. Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working in K-12 school environments. Previous school-based experience is highly preferred. Availability for part-time (0.5 FTE) in-person work throughout the school year (August 31, 2026-June 16, 2027). Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams. Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students to support learning and emotional well-being. Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and positive behavioral supports. Deliver direct counseling and support services, fostering a safe and inclusive school environment. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and eligibility determinations. Maintain organized, timely documentation to comply with state and district standards.
