Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated school psychologist, working full time at a high school near the Greenacres, WA area. This role spans the full 2026-2027 academic year, from August 27, 2026, through June 17, 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment. As the sole psychologist at this school site, you will collaborate closely with students, faculty, and families. You will conduct an estimated 50-60 evaluations for the year, supporting student growth, well-being, and academic success.

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification is required Prior experience as a school psychologist, preferably within a high school setting proficiency in conducting assessments, evaluations, and writing reports Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for student advocacy and supporting diverse learning needs

Primary Duties:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to interpret student data Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations Offer crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed Maintain documentation and confidential records in compliance with school and state standards This position features a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm, allowing for work-life balance and dependable routines throughout the school year.
