School Psychologist in Madison, WI Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Madison, WI Job Details Contract 3 days ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Madison, WI is seeking a skilled school psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to support student learning and well-being. This contract position is ideal for professionals with experience in educational psychology who are dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for diverse student populations within a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote effective learning strategies Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid school psychologist certification or licensure for the state of Wisconsin Relevant master's or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field Experience working in K-12 educational settings Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain confidentiality
