Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students as a dedicated school psychologist, working in a dynamic and supportive educational environment. This contract role places you in a collaborative setting, where your expertise in psychological assessments and student support will be highly valued. You'll work closely with teachers, families, and administrators to create strategies that help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school psychologist Background in administering and interpreting psychological and educational evaluations Experience developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families Familiarity with current best practices in counseling and behavioral interventionsResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs Provide direct and consultative psychological services to support academic and social-emotional growth Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement effective interventions Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to determine student eligibility and educational programming Offer crisis intervention and counseling when needed Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate Support ongoing parent and staff education related to mental health and wellness Embrace the opportunity to enhance student outcomes and support faculty in a flexible, meaningful contract role.
