Desired Skills & Experience:
Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T preferred) Demonstrated experience operating linear accelerators and treatment planning systems Proficient in patient positioning and immobilization techniques Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accurate dosage and adherence to treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to interpret and execute complex treatment directives Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding therapy procedures Maintain precise and detailed records of treatments delivered Consistently monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, making necessary adjustments in consultation with the care team Uphold strict standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
