Qualifications Required Education:

Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology approved program in radiation therapy.

Required Experience:

None Required Certification/License/Registry:

State of Florida Department of Health certification as a Radiation Therapy Technologist. Must possess and maintain active certification as a Radiation Therapist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Chief Therapist/Rad Oncology simulate and deliver daily radiation treatments to oncology patients as directed by the Radiation Oncologist; act as liaison between patients and their families and the Radiation Oncologist when adverse reactions or disease progression occurs Employer guarantees to pay at least the State of Florida's minimum wage.
