Travel Assignment | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Job Summary A healthcare facility in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with strong potential for temp-to-hire conversion. The role involves delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments in a collaborative oncology setting while prioritizing patient safety, accuracy, and compassionate care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and skilled in operating radiation therapy equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician directives Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately Monitor patients throughout treatment and provide compassionate support Ensure precise patient positioning and proper treatment setup Accurately document treatment sessions and clinical observations Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and clinical staff Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols Educate patients on treatment procedures, expectations, and care guidelines Float to other approved clinical units or campuses as required based on staffing needs Required Qualifications Active Radiation Therapist certification/licensure required Prior experience as a Radiation Therapist required Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume oncology setting Solid understanding of radiation safety standards and clinical protocols For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
