Our goal is to deliver high-quality, innovative care by offering the best and newest treatment modalities to improve urologic health. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our committed team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This role plays a crucial part in the care and treatment of cancer patients. This is a PRN position and ideal for an individual looking for work that may supplement other employment or perhaps for an individual who seeks work flexibility. Responsibilities
  • Perform radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients, primarily prostate cancer patients.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning during treatments.
  • Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatment and report any adverse reactions to the medical team.
  • Maintain detailed records of treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on treatment procedures and potential side effects. Requirements
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in delivering radiation therapy treatments with precision and accuracy.
