Locums About the Facility This 433-bed hospital provides dedicated radiation oncology services within an outpatient and clinic-based setting. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and dedicated support staff to ensure coordinated and quality oncology patient management. Appropriate resources are in place to support clinicians delivering radiation therapy services on-site. About the Facility Location Kentucky offers a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to diverse interests. The state features outdoor recreation opportunities, including guided hikes, cave tours, and fishing at state resort parks, as well as cultural destinations such as museums spanning art and contemporary exhibits. Clinicians on assignment may also explore bourbon distillery tours, thoroughbred horse farm experiences, and other leisure activities throughout the region. About the Clinician's Workday The radiation oncologist will provide clinic-based outpatient oncology services on a day shift schedule with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include overseeing radiation treatments, conducting new patient consults, managing follow-up visits, performing treatment planning, completing status checks, and participating in tumor conferences. The clinician will work collaboratively with a support team consisting of 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 Medical Physicists, and 3 Dosimetrists. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required for this assignment.
