Required License/Registration/Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARRT ) and Valid Kentucky State License Registration (obtained before start date). Physical Requirements Requires heavy lifting, pushing, pulling of objects over 50 pounds. Shift Typically Monday - Friday, Day Shift; (some evening hours or weekends could be required in support of patient care). This position has On-Call duties. Job Summary The Radiation Oncology Clinic seeks a Radiation Therapist to provide radiation treatment delivery. The Radiation Therapist would be responsible for providing daily care of cancer patients, including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments, performing simulations, providing clinical instruction for radiation therapy students, and may be required to cover brachy procedures and treatment scheduling. This position is eligible for a Recruitment Bonus of up to $15,000. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward.
