Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in cancer care working as a skilled Radiation Therapist. In this contract assignment, you'll collaborate with an expert oncology team, providing advanced radiation treatments and supporting patients throughout their care journey. Your experience and compassion will help ensure the highest standards of care and patient safety.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT preferred) Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting Familiarity with linear accelerators and modern treatment planning systems Solid understanding of safety standards and radiation protection protocols Strong communication and patient support skills Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians Prepare and position patients for procedures; use immobilization devices as needed Operate radiation therapy equipment and verify calibration for safe operation Maintain thorough documentation of treatments and ensure accurate patient records Monitor and observe patients during procedures, responding to any concerns or adverse reactions Communicate regularly with physicians, nurses, and dosimetrists regarding patient care plans Participate in quality assurance and ongoing equipment checks
