Job Description

Position Summary The Office Coordinator - Customer Service is a core member of the Bridger Precast team and serves as the central coordination point for customers, engineers, drivers, vendors, and internal plant staff. This role supports daily plant and office operations by managing customer communication, sales and order documentation, invoicing and payments, trucking coordination, and general office administration. This position operates in a precast manufacturing environment and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong customer‑service mindset. The role reports directly to the Sales Manager, who may assign additional duties as business needs require. Work hours generally align with office hours but may extend during peak construction season. Essential Job FunctionsCustomer Service & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for walk‑in customers, phone calls, and email inquiries Answer customer and engineer questions related to products, orders, schedules, and deliveries Represent Bridger Precast professionally and courteously in all customer interactions Direct customer, sales, production, and yard inquiries to appropriate personnel Order Processing & Office Administration Prepare, process, and manage sales orders, purchase orders, quotes, invoices, and submittal packages Send customer invoices and receive/process payments (checks, card payments, etc.) Perform minor bookkeeping tasks such as invoice tracking, data entry, and document reconciliation Coordinate with accounting as needed to ensure accurate records Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems in accordance with company procedures Production, Inventory & Trucking Support Assist with production scheduling and job coordination Create, review, and maintain picking sheets and order documentation Verify loaded trucks against picking sheets prior to shipment when required Coordinate trucking and delivery logistics with drivers and vendors Maintain inventory and vendor records and assist with supply coordination Operational Support & Systems Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking orders, inventory, bookkeeping data, and operational metrics Support management with reporting, documentation, and operational tracking Gain and apply working knowledge of manufacturing processes, plant capabilities, and production constraints Assist with basic marketing materials and administrative sales support as needed Safety, Teamwork & Office Operations Support daily plant operations through organized administrative systems that promote efficient production and on‑time delivery Foster a team‑oriented work environment with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement Actively support and comply with all safety policies and encourage a safety‑first culture Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements Assist with general office organization and shared office housekeeping duties alongside other office staff Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall plant and administrative operations Evaluation Criteria Integrity - doing the right thing even when no one is watching Self‑motivation and accountability Ability to manage systems and follow procedures Commitment to safety of self and others Teamwork and collaboration Customer care and professionalism Thoroughness and attention to detail Work Schedule This is construction‑based employment . Bridger Precast experiences a busy and slow season, with peak workload during summer and fall . Extended hours may be required during high‑volume periods. QualificationsSkills & Experience Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Ability to read, write, and speak English Spanish speaking preferred Experience with Stack‑It, Quickbooks or similar systems is preferred but not required Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial office environments is a plus Physical Demands Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for extended periods Ability to walk and navigate a rough production yard as needed to visually inspect loads Work Environment Combination of office, shop, and outdoor environments Daily exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and boots may be required Why Bridger Precast Stable, year‑round employment with a Montana precast manufacturer Team‑focused, no‑nonsense work culture Variety in daily responsibilities with opportunity to grow Pride in building tangible infrastructure products Wage $24 - 28/hr

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
