Job Description
Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing radiation treatments as a dedicated Radiation Therapist. Use your expertise in radiation therapy to impact patient outcomes in a supportive clinical environment dedicated to excellence. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team and contribute to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients using advanced therapy equipment Accurately interpret and implement radiation oncologist orders Monitor patient reactions during therapy and provide compassionate support Maintain detailed patient records and ensure documentation compliance Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dosimetrists to develop optimal treatment plans Strictly adhere to safety standards to ensure the well-being of patients and staff Regularly inspect and maintain therapy machines for operational integrity Educate patients and their families about treatment processes and provide reassurance as neededQualifications:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy Satisfactory completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred Thorough knowledge of radiation safety protocols Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification This is a contract opportunity, offering the chance to gain valuable experience and skills while working with cutting-edge technology and compassionate teams.
