STAFF RADIATION THERAPIST: Potential 4-Day Work Week

POSITION SUMMARY

Major responsibility includes accurate administration of ionizing radiation to a prescribed area according to the prescribed dose. Educates and informs patients and their families in aspects of their radiation therapy treatments and refers them to Oncology nurse or Radiation Oncologist when necessary. Schedules and maintains daily therapy treatment appointments. Documents daily dose delivered and accurately calculates accumulated dose and elapsed treatment days. Minimum Required:

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Board Certified or Registry eligible by the ARRT in
