This role requires expertise in radiation therapy equipment operation, CT simulation, image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic procedures, patient positioning, and treatment documentation. The Radiation Therapist collaborates closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and treatment accuracy while maintaining radiation safety standards.

40 hours/week Key Responsibilities Radiation Treatment Delivery Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments while safely operating treatment units with minimal supervision. Maintain continuous visual and audible communication with patients during treatment procedures. Perform daily LINAC and CT quality assurance (QA) as well as monthly CT QA procedures. Accurately perform IGRT, SBRT, portal imaging, and other advanced radiation therapy techniques. Safely operate CT-on-rails systems for IGRT delivery across all treatment sites. CT Simulation & Treatment Preparation Perform CT simulations according to departmental and site-specific protocols. Construct immobilization devices and treatment accessories as required. Utilize IV contrast safely during simulation procedures when indicated. Perform respiratory gating and AcQ simulation procedures accurately. Prepare and support simulation procedures for SBRT treatments. Construct electron and cerrobend blocks when necessary. Verify simulation procedures and documentation in MOSAIQ prior to treatment initiation. Accurately bill for simulation procedures and special devices when applicable. Treatment Management & Documentation Maintain and verify all aspects of MOSAIQ treatment management, including: Treatment calendars Patient schedules Prescriptions DRRs Portal imaging Treatment photos Verify physician and physics treatment planning parameters prior to treatment delivery. Maintain accurate daily treatment records and monitor unit documentation. Identify, implement, and document treatment plan changes as required. Attend weekly chart rounds and participate in quality review activities. Utilize McKesson systems for inpatient transportation coordination and communication. Lead CT Therapist Responsibilities Train radiation therapists in CT simulation procedures including: Respiratory gating AcQ simulation CT and lap laser QA Mould room responsibilities SBRT simulation procedures Ensure all physician-required forms and documentation are prepared and available for completion. Safety & Compliance Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and dress code requirements. Adhere to radiation safety standards and the ALARA principle for patient and staff protection. Utilize proper body mechanics and patient transfer equipment including slide boards and ceiling lifts. Maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures related to treatment equipment and department operations. Report equipment malfunctions and treatment-related concerns promptly to physicians, physicists, managers, and lead therapists. Required Qualifications Education Successful completion of an approved Radiation Therapy program required. Certifications & Licensure ARRT certification and registration in Radiation Therapy required. Experience & Technical Skills Experience with radiation therapy treatment delivery and CT simulation required.Strongly preferred experience with:

Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics and operate patient transfer equipment safely. Ability to work in a fast-paced oncology environment while maintaining treatment precision and patient safety. Work Environment This position functions within a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department and requires a high level of technical expertise, accuracy, and patient care. The Radiation Therapist must demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary oncology setting while ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery.Pay:
$50.00 per hour Application Question(s): Successful completion of an approved Radiation Therapy program required. ARRT certification and registration in Radiation Therapy required. Experience with radiation therapy treatment delivery and CT simulation required.Strongly preferred experience with:
