Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Valid New York state license (or eligibility to obtain) Minimum of one year recent experience in a Radiation Therapist role Proficient in treatment planning, delivery, and safety protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Strong ability to adapt to fast-paced, collaborative environments
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely to patients Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment according to established guidelines Monitor and assess patient responses, recording observations and reporting concerns Work closely with oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal care Educate patients and families on procedures, safety, and aftercare Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
