This contract role provides the opportunity to work alongside skilled clinical professionals and help patients through their cancer treatment journeys.
Key Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy State licensure as required for radiation therapists Proven experience operating linear accelerators and treatment planning systems Excellent patient care skills and compassionate bedside manner Strong communication and technical problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
Role Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout their treatment sessions Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently Work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate and adjust patient care plans as needed Explain procedures to patients and provide ongoing support throughout treatment Document all treatments in compliance with facility protocols and radiation safety standards Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all safety policies and regulatory guidelines This contract position offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive, patient-focused environment, while directly contributing to positive treatment outcomes.
