Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (8-hour shifts, total 40 hours weekly) No Saturday shifts Flexibility to float to other Radiation Oncology locations
Key Qualifications:
NYS Radiologic Technologist Therapy License required
Certification:
ARRT (T), BLS Experience with Ethos or Varian machines (preferred) Proficiency with Epic EMR Acute adult care and oncology experience Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a high-volume environment Strong communication, flexibility, and team collaboration skills Dependability and punctuality a must
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, high-quality radiation therapy to oncology patients, utilizing advanced techniques including IMRT and external beam therapy Perform tumor localization, custom shield and mold work, dose calculations, and imaging (CBCT/kV/mV) Maintain radiation safety protocols and respond efficiently to emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
