Radiation Therapist Location:

Desired Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program. Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (RTT). Licensed in Ohio for Radiation Therapy (LRTT). Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy required. Proficiency with TrueBeam, Trilogy, and Aria systems is highly desired.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, day shift from 8am-4:30pm. No weekends, no on-call shifts, and no work on holidays. Salary range is between $74K
  • 99K, dependent on experience and skill level.
Full benefits package included.
Responsibilities:
Accurately administer photon and electron radiation, as well as assist in brachytherapy procedures under the guidance of the radiation oncologist and in compliance with department protocols. Perform simulations, create shielding blocks, maintain detailed documentation, and participate in quality assurance initiatives. Deliver radiation therapy treatments precisely following prescriptions and instructions from the radiation oncologist. Conduct simulations to prepare for radiation therapy treatments. Ensure adherence to treatment orders and proper documentation. Assist in assessing patient needs and provide education to patients and families. Operate imaging, therapeutic, and medical equipment safely and proficiently. Prioritize tasks to complete assignments promptly. Display willingness to cross-train in various areas for enhanced operational efficiency.

This position reports to the well-regarded Radiation Oncology Manager. Within the department, there is 1 clinical manager, 1.6 Radiology Oncologist, 1.6 full-time RNs, 2 full-time Physicists, 2 full-time CMDs, and 5 Staff RTTs.
