Qualifications:
Valid and current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T). Registered/licensed to practice in the state of Ohio or eligible. Previous experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting preferred. Proficient with modern linear accelerators and treatment planning systems. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Adaptable and eager to learn new protocols and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments according to oncologist's prescription and protocols. Accurately position patients and operate sophisticated treatment equipment. Maintain detailed treatment records and uphold safety regulations. Provide compassion and support to patients throughout the treatment process. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, nurses, and medical physicists to ensure optimal care. Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education as needed.
