Job Description

TITLE:
Radiation Therapist / Sign on bonus available

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Training Program. Current ARRT license specific to Radiation Therapy - ARRT (T) Valid Radiation Therapist license from the Ohio Department of Health. 3-5 years of experience in radiation therapy with training in simulation and planning; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required.
Hours and Compensation:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm (1 week on-call rotation every 3 weeks). No weekends or holidays. Salary range of $84K-107K based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package with a $15K sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
Perform radiation therapist duties and assigned administrative tasks under the direction of the department director. Review, write, and update radiation policies and procedures. Educate staff on policies, procedures, and ODH requirements. Ensure compliance with ODH Administrative Code requirements and assist in meeting those requirements. Oversee completion and logging of equipment quality checks and maintenance. Lead radiation therapy Quality Assurance and Improvement meetings and develop QA/QI plans. Assist in coordinating patient care, training and orienting staff, and ensuring compliance with billing procedures. Stay current on radiation oncology billing procedures and assist with quality and safety requirements.
