$53.78•73.95/hour Lead Radiation Therapist•Grants Pass, Oregon Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift A leading regional health system in Southern Oregon is seeking an experienced Lead Radiation Therapist to join its Radiation Oncology team in Grants Pass. This full-time leadership opportunity combines direct patient care with mentoring, operational oversight, and collaboration across the oncology team to ensure exceptional treatment delivery and patient outcomes. A Staff Radiation Therapist opportunity is also available in nearby Medford, OR. Position Overview The Lead Radiation Therapist provides leadership, training, and day-to-day guidance to Radiation Therapists while delivering high-quality radiation treatments. This individual partners closely with Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, Nursing, and other clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. The role also assists leadership with workflow improvements, technical operations, and enhancing the overall patient experience. Shift Details Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Monday•Friday 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Compensation & Incentives Pay:
$53.78•73.95/hour Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning within 30 days Employer retirement contribution and matching program Generous paid time off Tuition reimbursement and tuition repayment assistance Life insurance, disability coverage, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Key Responsibilities Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to Radiation Therapy staff Coordinate daily treatment operations with physicians, nursing, dosimetry, physics, and ancillary departments Assist leadership with identifying workflow improvements and operational efficiencies Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental policies Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain accurate treatment documentation Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the treatment process Requirements Experience Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Therapist experience Strong knowledge of radiation oncology theory, equipment, treatment procedures, and patient care Licensure & Certifications ARRT (T) Certification required Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiation Therapy License required (or ability to obtain) Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire Why This Opportunity?
