Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through
Friday Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT required) Valid state licensure as mandated Prior clinical experience in radiation therapy Proficiency with treatment planning systems and imaging equipment Strong communication and patient relationship skills Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, oncology nurses, and allied health professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Administer accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by oncologists Perform patient positioning, equipment calibration, and quality assurance checks Monitor and document patient reactions and progress throughout therapy courses Maintain meticulous records in accordance with industry and facility protocols Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and family members regarding procedures and aftercare Uphold safety standards to protect patients, colleagues, and oneself from unnecessary exposure Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to review and enhance patient care plans
