Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation using advanced linear accelerators, Tomotherapy units, or proton therapy equipment Accurately position patients for treatment in line with radiation oncologist prescriptions Record and verify treatment details in specialized software systems Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care Follow all radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self Maintain professional interaction with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers, embodying service excellence and core values Assist in the training and mentorship of radiation therapy students Participate in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities Perform other duties as assigned to ensure optimal patient care Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Certification and licensure as a Radiation Therapist Experience with linear accelerators and advanced treatment units preferred Strong knowledge of radiation safety and protection principles Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration Commitment to compassionate care and professional growth
