The assignment's schedule covers Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., giving you predictable hours while you focus on exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
2 or more years of experience as a radiation therapist Valid, active Virginia Radiation Therapy license (required before start) Proficiency in operating Varian Truebeam/Aria technology Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to support patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt to new environments and workflows quickly
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (8-hour shifts, 5 days per week)
Role Responsibilities:
Administer precise radiation therapy as prescribed by oncologists Confirm treatment protocols and maintain accurate documentation Operate and maintain radiation therapy machines with focus on quality and patient safety Monitor patients for response and side effects, providing immediate support and communication Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal care delivery
