Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic radiation therapy setting where your expertise will make a daily impact. A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Radiation Therapist ready to contribute within a technologically advanced department featuring two Varian TrueBeam/ARIA systems. This assignment is ideally suited for professionals with strong technical proficiency and a commitment to delivering compassionate, safe patient care.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (5x8's)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Current, active Virginia license (must be obtained prior to start) Proficient with Varian TrueBeam/ARIA systems preferred Strong communication skills and dedication to collaborative, patient-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed protocols Accurately review treatment plans, verify radiation parameters, and ensure precise patient positioning Maintain meticulous records and uphold the highest safety standards throughout each treatment session Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and other care team members Demonstrate professionalism and leadership, mentoring junior staff as needed
