Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care and cutting-edge technology as a skilled Radiation Therapist in a dynamic clinical environment. Your expertise will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing radiation therapy treatments.

Full-time hours Flexible scheduling opportunities may be available
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Current state licensure as required Minimum of one year experience in a radiation therapy setting preferred Proficient in operating linear accelerators and treatment planning systems Excellent communication skills and the ability to offer supportive patient care Strong attention to accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver precise radiation treatments according to physician's orders and established protocols Accurately position patients and utilize immobilization devices Monitor patient during therapy, observe for any unusual reactions, and report to medical staff as necessary Maintain detailed records and documentation for all treatments administered Support the multidisciplinary team by ensuring clear communication and patient education Regularly inspect, operate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety standards Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
